The Black Market in Caerleon buys gear from players for the game loot system. A spread between a royal city and a Black Market buy order is only a starting point; transport and stale prices can erase it.

Find a candidate item
Search for a piece of equipment. Compare its lowest reported listing in a source city with the Black Market Best Buy Order. Open the Route Planner, select the source city, and choose Quick sell to compare buy orders rather than ordinary listings.
Example: check net proceeds
If a piece of armor costs 20,000 silver and the Black Market buy order is 27,000, the 7,000 spread is before charges and travel risk. Check both timestamps and the actual order in game; do not assume you can sell multiple pieces at that price.
Volume and transport risk
Review reported sales volume and the quantity you plan to carry. Routes to Caerleon can pass through dangerous areas. The calculator cannot price the risk of losing your cargo, and historical volume cannot guarantee an immediate sale.
